Most of the country says pee-KAHN. But over on the eastern seaboard, they call them PEE-cans. In the southeast, they say pick-AHNs. And in the north near Wisconsin, they call them PEE-kahns. How do you say pecan? Turns out, it depends on where you're from. Pecans grow all over the country. And all over the country, people say their names differently.
